I want to be here for the rest of my career, we have a few days and we will be speaking to the club.
Hiddink added he was pleased Chelsea were talking with John Terry about a one-year extension – the captain told fans after the game he wanted to remain at the club and further talks would be held next week.

Depending on where Jose Mourinho begins next season could play a part as the pair enjoyed a special bond in both the Portuguese’s spells in London but a spell at Manchester United or any other Premier League would be extraordinary given Terry’s past.
Chelsea have been criticised for the way they have dispensed with their ageing players in the past, with the likes of Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole leaving without much ceremony.

With several young players rising through the ranks and a manager who has never worked in the Premier League incoming, Terry’s experience will come in handy. It will be a very good atmosphere with good music.
