A Year in the Life will consist of four episodes of an hour and a half each, spanning – as you’d guess – a year in Stars Hollow.

As part of the interview, we now know that Graham reveals that the four-part series will be titled “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life”, rather than “Gilmore Girls: Seasons”.
“It’s the most incredible experience – I cry trying to talk about it. To get to do it again, who would have imagined?”
It’s official. We know this because now there’s a title.
Netflix and Warner Bros. confirmed at the end of January, after months of speculation, that Gilmore Girls would return later in 2016 and set in the present day, or eight years after we last caught up with the Gilmores.
“I loved this character so much and I had the same feeling I had when I first opened that script, which was just such a deep connection”, she said.

The series will be four 90-minute episodes, one for each season of the year, Graham, 49, revealed. Joining Alexis Biedel and Lauren Graham for the show are going to be many familiar faces from the original show, including Jared Padalecki, Matt Czuchry, Milo Ventimiglia, and even a small appearance from Melissa McCarthy.
