Morata’s future at Juventus is in serious doubt as the Guardian reported last week that Real Madrid have made a decision to activate a £23.6m buyback clause that was inserted in to the deal that saw him leave the Bernabeu two years ago. However, if United and Arsenal expect Morata to be a prolific goal-scorer from the get-go, they should look elsewhere.
This exuberant sort of fee is something that can not be matched by the reigning Italian champions, who are conscious of the fact that Morata is likely to leave the Juventus stadium come the summer.
