Trump even acknowledged the youthful audience before him.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump continued his love-hate relationship with Chris Christie during a fundraiser-rally for the New Jersey governor.

“I’m not eating Oreos anymore, you know that”.

For his part, Christie defended his decision to back Trump, which he said “shocked” the world back in March. “Neither is Chris! You’re not eating Oreos again!” “It’s for either of us”, he said, drawing loud laughs from the crowd.

Trump suggested that he might get a phone call someday from Christie – or his wife – should he be elected to the White House.

Christie and Trump took shots at each other much of past year while they both sought the Republican presidential nomination. At a separate event, Trump raised money to pay off the New Jersey Republican party’s legal tab related to the George Washington Bridge scandal linked to Christie allies. “Maybe Mary Pat would even be better because I think maybe she’d be better. It’s driving them insane'”.

Though the rally was smaller than the usual tens of thousands of people who have lined up for free Trump rallies, he used many of his popular lines to energize the crowd, saying he was running to “make America great again” and will help the nation “win” again by boosting military spending and renegotiating trade deals if he is elected president.

“He’s going to win”, Force added of Trump.

“The fact is that I’m a lot different than I was three years ago”, Christie said in February, per NJ Advance Media. S.to save money, he mentioned Nabisco’s plan to leave Chicago for Mexico. And, on top of that, they are building fortresses on the South China Sea.

Trump told them that “what’s happening here in New Jersey” is drugs “are pouring across” and “illegal immigrants are coming in”. “I’m not going to be responding”, Clinton said. The same blaring soundtrack, the same ardent shouts of “Build The Wall”, but all for the first time to a paying crowd, in an attempt to clear outstanding campaign debt from Christie’s unsuccessful presidential bid.

Trump said there’s one word that won’t be used anymore to describe the US if he’s elected.

“We are not going to be the stupid country anymore”, he said.

The presumptive nominee also compared the United States to “a big big sloppy bully who gets punched in the face and gets knocked down”. It’s a awful thing. “And they’re doing things”, Trump said.

But despite this being a fundraiser for Christie, the event had all the typical trappings of a Trump rally, with supporters wearing the trademark hats or holding signs that the “Silent Majority” stands with Trump.
