The 2-part season finale of “The Blacklist” season 3 has got viewers at the edge of their seats. Megan Boone’s Liz Scott/Keen wasn’t only a great female character, but also the partner of Raymond “Red” Reddington, and you can’t just kill off Red’s partner and expect there not to be repercussions.

Until now, Liz’s mother Katarina Rostova’s name had been mentioned plenty of times on the show but fans had not met her. If Eggold is hinting at that, then viewers will be intrigued to meet the character who had been kept under wraps since the beginning of the series. After it appeared she died shortly after the birth of her daughter, Liz returned to the show and it was revealed that she had faked her death to leave her past life behind. In an interview with Golden Spiral Media, Bokenkamp teased fans that there is so much to look forward to in “The Blacklist” season 4. Meanwhile, Red plots to kill Alexander Kirk with or without the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Elizabeth! That’s right, Liz is still alive! Some fans speculated that Red was actually Liz’s father, but Kirk’s revelation could have put an end to that theory.

The whole twist in the season ender could be a preparation for the Blacklist spinoff titled “Redemption” where Tom (Ryan Eggold) will join his mother Susan Hargrave (Famke Janssen) as part of a private security firm who does the government’s dirty work as mentioned in a report by Movie News Guide. Those three things are: Susan “Scottie” Hargrave is so hot; Tom Keen considers the task force to be Agnes’ family; Scottie is Tom’s mom. However, with the finale of the third season coming up, there is still no clue as to when or if the character is coming back, which would give the idea that she is indeed dead.
