Bill Clinton: Democrats will “be together in the end”.

Asked if she would consider naming Sanders her vice-presidential nominee, in an effort to unify the party and bring in his liberal and young supporters, Clinton demurred.

Hillary Clinton on Thursday blasted her likely general election rival Donald Trump as a threat to United States democracy and declared him unqualified to be president, unleashing some of her toughest criticism yet of the Republican presumptive nominee.

Trump also has a strong advocate in New Jersey Gov.

That’s a blowout. And it matches Clinton’s national polling lead over Sanders.

He told a crowd in Vallejo Wednesday night that the Golden State’s June 7th primary will be the most important of the entire nominating process.

“Let me be as clear as I can be”, Sanders said, “We’re going to take our fight into the convention”.

Neither Bill nor Hillary Clinton have commented on the matter during the campaign, but Trump has hinted that he would attack the former president’s past with women. Instead, they’re dealing with their own divisions.

They also certainly don’t have the right to do what some Sanders supporters did at a recent state convention in Nevada. He became a superdelegate because of his position in the Democratic party in OR, but that doesn’t mean he agrees with the system. “But Senator Sanders has to do his part”.

“Bernie raised this in his speech in California and I’m sure she was responding to him”, Randi Weingarten, president of the American Federation of Teachers and a Democratic superdelegate backing Clinton, said of the CNN interview.

“While Trump may reflect the Republican Party nationwide, I don’t think he reflects the values of Utahns”, he said.

Later, at his rally in California, Sanders suggested there would be consequences for Democratic Party leaders if they don’t change its rules to expand participation for independents and newcomers.

This is enormously frustrating for those of us who call ourselves Democrats and have participated in the party for years.

The campaign’s announcement came shortly after Weaver blasted Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz over her handling of the party’s debate schedule. “We all misstate things and may not be as careful phrasing what we say”.

The Clinton campaign can take comfort in some of the patterns that played out in Barack Obama’s win over her in the 2008 nomination race.

“If we can substantially close the gap between Secretary Clinton and Sen”.

Sanders has been on a winning streak lately, taking 11 of the last 19 contests.

But for Mr. Sanders, who trails badly in the delegate race yet continues to rack up primary wins in states across the country, another forum would offer a chance to draw contrasts with Mrs. Clinton.

While Kentucky isn’t likely to be a swing state in November, problems there for Clinton may foreshadow difficulties in parts of OH and Pennsylvania.
