Cowell congratulates Malik on record deal
“I guess I never explained why I left”, he tweeted, referring to his exit from 1D in March. “Then few minutes later, he posted another tweet, launching “#REALME“. Its impressive roster includes the likes of Alicia Keys, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus and Shakira.

ZAYN MALIK has announced that he’s signed to RCA Records as he readies his solo career after leaving One Direction.
The 55-year-old label boss went on to compliment the new partnership, as he feels “they [RCA] are the flawless label for Zayn’s solo career” and “whatever they release together will be special”.
Simon Cowell also took to social media to congratulate Malik on his big solo move.
The Twitter trend emerged on Sunday, causing a meltdown, so they’ll be bitter to learn that he’s bagged himself his own deal.
With the wound still fresh, Twitter exploded not even a week later when when Naughty Boy retweeted a shady video claiming to have “saved Zayn”. Although he had been working on material with La La La producer Naughty Boy, the pair have since cut ties with each other.
Evident here is Malik’s “real music” hashtag, which suggests, until now, the music he had been making was not up to his personal standards. We’ve compiled a timeline for the hardcore Directioner to see Zayn’s journey.
We can’t wait to hear more from Zayn!
One Directioners quickly took offense to the statement, but many fans jumped to Malik’s aid.
Remember Zayn Malik? He was once part of the biggest boy band in the world but left earlier this year to live a normal life. He tweeted about the deal, saying he and Malik were “working on this for a while” and that he is pleased at RCA’s offer.
The remaining One Direction members have yet to comment on Malik’s latest decision.
