Cyprus President sends condolences to his Egyptian counterpart over plane crash

Condoling the Egyptian leader on the loss of 66 lives in the crash, President Buhari assured President Al-Sisi and the people of Egypt of the sympathy of all Nigerians as they mourn the passengers and crew of EgyptAir MS804.

A $25 billion loan from Russian Federation has been approved by Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi to build a nuclear power plant in Dabaa in the north of the country.

“President Al-Sisi thanked President Buhari for his condolence and sympathy”.

Secretary-General of the Arab League Nabil Elaraby expressed his “deep sorrow” over the incident.

According to the Thursday issue of the Official Gazette, Sisi had met Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker on Saturday over the issue.

There is no escape for Egypt unless all the people close ranks and unite to bring down the traitorous coup regime, and eliminate the scourge of its putsch, in order to preserve what remains of Egypt’s present, and achieve a better future.

The prelate said that five new churches are being constructed in Asyut and also praised the ecumenical openness of Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria, who has led the Coptic Orthodox Church since 2012.
