Oklahoma suburb searching for answers after fatal stabbings

Both brothers face five counts of first degree murder, one for every family member police say they stabbed to death: Their parents, David and April, and siblings, 12-year-old Daniel, 7-year-old Christopher and 5-year-old Victoria. Court records did not show whether the brothers are represented by an attorney.

Robert Bever, 18, and his 16-year-old brother were arrested after their parents and three of their siblings were found stabbed to death in Broken Arrow on July 22.

The brothers were also charged with one count of assault and battery with intent to kill involving multiple stabbings inflicted on a 13-year-old sister who survived the attack. Michael Bever, 16, will be charged as an adult, according to a statement from the district attorney’s office.

A two-year-old sister was found in the home unharmed.

Broken Arrow police have said the 13-year-old told them her brothers were responsible for the attack.

Brothers are charged in concert for the attack on their parents and siblings and their surviving sister.
