She says she accepts Trudeau’s apology, but adds that he has not contacted her directly.

Trudeau said: “Today – while knowing that no words can fully erase the pain and suffering experienced by the passengers – I offer a honest apology on behalf of the government for the laws in force at the time that allowed Canada to be indifferent to the plight of the passengers of the Komagata Maru”.
“We live in a world where there are always risks and the question is, how much do we want to live in fear of those risks?”
He also talked about benefits of accepting refugees as increasing diversity of the Canadian society.
Footage from the House of Commons television feed shows Trudeau wading into a clutch of lawmakers, mostly opposition members, and pulling a lawmaker through the crowd in order to get the vote started.
Trudeau, impatient at what he saw as stalling tactics by the opposition ahead of a vote on Wednesday evening, crossed the floor in the House of Commons to grab one legislator and drag him to his seat, accidentally elbowing another in the chest.
Brosseau said she was shocked by the encounter.
Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, seated, is applauded by members of the Liberal caucus after delivering an apology Thursday in the House of Commons on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, following a physical altercation the previous day.
“New Democrats reported hearing the prime minister mutter, “‘Get the f– out of the way'”.
“Is the atmosphere in the House getting particularly toxic?'” he said.
Sikhs in Canada are demanding the country’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to include 1914 Komagata incident in the school curriculum, across the country.
The prime minister had no right to behave the way he did, she said. “I expect better behaviour of myself”.
“It’s like closure”, she said.
Brosseau said the incident now left her feeling attacked from all sides.
“I was standing in the centre talking to some colleagues”, Brosseau told the House after calm was restored. “And then [people are asking], ‘Was she hit hard enough in the breast?’ Do I have justify how hard I was hit in the breast?” Stating that Canada was a model of multiculturalism and inclusivity, Mukhbir said, “We believe it is essential that the Komagata Maru incident and the anti-immigrant sentiment which fuelled that incident, be made a part of our provincial education curricula”.
The affair is the most serious blow yet to the image of Trudeau, who led his Liberals to power last October with a promise of ‘sunny ways’.

“It is just going to be important, moving forward, what happens to make sure something like that does not repeat itself”.
