Celtic star Scott Brown has told the club’s official website that Brendan Rodgers will attract huge players to the club.

It is the first job that Rodgers has taken after getting sacked by Liverpool in October previous year.

Despite securing back-to-back SPL titles alongside one League Cup, the Norwegian failed to win over Bhoys supporters as his team failed to make any sort of a mark in Europe. They can look forward to a great spectacle because he does like to play attacking football.

And The Sun claim that the former Liverpool manager wants a reunion with Gerrard by signing the midfielder up to a player-assistant manager contract.

The club has been in magnificent shape in recent years and has collected silverware regularly during this time.

“One of the reasons I came to Celtic was the fact there was a huge manager in charge who had done well down in England in Gordon Strachan, and now we have another huge manager who had done well down south, and he will bring that enthusiasm and experience along with his style of play”.

As someone who has supported the Club all my life, I know exactly what Celtic means to so many people.

David Moyes, Roy Keane, Neil Lennon and Owen Coyle amongst others were in the running to replace the Norwegian at Celtic Park, but Rodgers ultimately got the nod. Together we can continue our position as the best club in Scotland, and make inroads once again in Europe.

“I can’t wait to be in Paradise with our team and our fans as we all get to work”.

“I like him very much as an individual, so if he is the man, he would be a great choice”.

Rodgers is due to meet the Celtic supporters at 6pm on Monday evening, following his press conference, and it would be accurate to suggest the last managerial appointment to be greeted with such enthusiasm and positivity was Martin O’Neill some 16 years ago.

“We have appointed a special manager and we are sure he can bring some special times to Celtic”.
