A Monmouth University poll released Tuesday found that Trump leads New Hampshire Republican votes with 24 percent support – twice that of Jeb Bush.
Clinton does, however, lead real-estate magnate Donald Trump by 12 points in a theoretical general-election matchup.
Trump also loses to Bernie Sanders 45 to 37 – an eight-point differential.
The poll indicates that Trump is garnering his greatest support yet nationally, as almost a quarter of Republicans surveyed selected him as their choice for the party’s presidential candidate for 2016.
Several Republican Party leaders have spoken out against Trump and his comments, but many ordinary voters frustrated with Washington have expressed appreciation for his blunt talk.
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is in 10th place at 3 percent in the Quinnipiac poll, but close behind are Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and former Texas Gov. Rick Perry at 2 percent.

When Bash pressed him on whether that process involves deportation, Trump elaborated, “They’re with their parents, it depends”.
The national telephone survey of 471 Likely Republican Voters was conducted by Rasmussen Reports on July 26-27, 2015. The New York Post reported that Clinton’s favorability ranking had fallen in the Quinnipiac poll.
As it now stands, Graham will not be able to be participate in the first marquee debate with the top 10 candidates, as the debate rules will only allow those polling in that threshold to participate.

In June, a Quinnipiac poll of key swing state voters showed that the majority of voters in states like Ohio, Florida, and Pennsylvania are not convinced of Clinton’s trustworthiness. “People say, ‘What do you mean?’ I think I would get along well with him”, Trump told reporters in Glasgow, Scotland, where he is attending the women’s British Open being played at a golf course he owns.
