Judge blocks release of recordings by anti-abortion group
Planned Parenthood says it abides by a law that allows providers to be reimbursed for the costs of processing tissue donated by women who have had abortions.

If federal funding for Planned Parenthood is blocked, could community health centers fill in the gap in services? Such non-elective abortions are not typically performed at the abortion clinics. None of the Florida offices harvest tissue for research. “Yes”, said Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.). Even with Planned Parenthood still in the equation, “they are anxious about their capacity to do what they’re doing”.
In the edited version, Ginde also appears to want to change abortion procedures in order to keep tissue intact.
Zdravecky, although acknowledging the language in the video is “insensitive”, also said: “the accusations are fake and outrageous and the people who produced the videos have been “widely discredited”.
Earlier this week, a California court issued a restraining order preventing the Center for Medical Progress from releasing a video with StemExpress executives.
The editorial tried to whitewash the dark side of Planned Parenthood, which has been the primary beneficiary of the abortion industry for more than 40 years. “In fact, the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the American Cancer Society provide them, as well”.
The group seeks to block the release of recordings that it says violate its members’ privacy and threatens their safety.
The undercover video showcases a lot of prospective problems, and it also mentions the members discussing about the prices for the fetal remains of the child.
Under the federal laws, selling fetal tissue is a felony punishable with $500,000 fine and up to ten years jail time.
There is no evidence to suggest body parts are being sold for profit. The study found that other clinics would need to increase their capacity by “two- to five-fold” in order to handle Planned Parenthood’s patients, but were already at or close to capacity.
The Center for Medical Progress is a group that spawned from Live Action, which has a history of launching assaults on Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood officials have said the videos are “heavily edited” and do not represent what is actually going on, i.e. that some tissue (in three states) is preserved for research. The videos have prompted a push by Republicans in Congress to halt federal funding to the organization, which is the nation’s largest abortion provider. This is not how the matter is taken forward, which is why temporary restraining order has been mentioned. You may recall that during the 2012 presidential cycle, Obama himself falsely claimed during a debate that the abortion provider administers mammograms to “millions” of women – and liberal CNN moderator Candy Crowley let him get away with it. Therefore, taxpayers are probably indirectly funding the abortion business; while advocates claim abortions make up only 3 percent of medical services provided by Planned Parenthood. They are promoting health, education and the right to choose. “What I think is important is that our HHS funding is focused on issues of preventative care for women, things like mammograms”, Burwell told the House Education and Workforce Committee.
