Mata unlikely to be a Special Juan for Mourinho

On Monday, United confirmed that they have parted ways with manager van Gaal, adding that the decision on his successor would be announced soon with Jose Mourinho being considered favourite for the vacant position.

Jose Mourinho has reportedly agreed personal terms with Manchester United to become the club’s new manager.

Importantly, the image right issues aren’t thought to be threatening the deal and an official announcement from the club is expected at some point on Wednesday with talks between United officials and Mourinho’s agent Jorge Mendes moving swiftly during Tuesday.
