That Paul McCartney returned to the “Get Back” last night at Lollapalooza wasn’t the surprise; it was who he brought out on stage. Gary Clark Jr. previewed some new songs from his forthcoming effort, The Story of Sonny Boy Slim and Alabama Shakes proved worthy of opening for Paul McCartney with a particularly spirited hour-long set.
