They include Carlos (son of Cruella De Vil), Mal (daughter of Maleficent), Evvie (daughter of the Evil Queen) and Jay (son of Jafar), who have all been imprisoned on a forbidden island with other villains from the Disney canon. It is directed and choreographed by Emmy Award-winning Kenny Ortega (Newsies, Hocus Pocus, High School Musical franchise).

Descendants app features five songs from the film and four bonus songs from Descendants: Wicked World, Disney Channel’s animated shorts which will release later this year. Wendy Japhet (“An Education”, “The Italian Job”) is also an executive producer. The series is one of Disney’s most popular franchises, beginning with a TV film in 2006 and ending with a theatrical release in 2008.
The story, set in the idyllic KINGDOM of Auradon, playfully presents the unexpected possibilities of what happens after the “happily ever after”.
