Violence erupts at Donald Trump rally
An aide to the nation’s first and only Latina state governor, New Mexico Republican Susana Martinez, said she wouldn’t be “bullied into supporting a candidate until she is convinced that candidate will fight for New Mexicans”. The local police department says protesters threw rocks and bottles at mounted officers.

Several officers hit by rocks and bottles were treated for injuries.
Another racially charged protest turned violent in Anaheim two months earlier, when a planned Ku Klux Klan rally in February ended with three people suffering stab wounds and several others arrested.
Police will be working to ensure that demonstrations do not block sidewalks or interfere with vehicles and pedestrian traffic in neighborhoods around the Anaheim Convention Center, where the Republican presidential candidate’s rally will be held at noon. Protesters then resisted security officers’ attempts to remove them from the venue, AP reports. Trump told the many individuals interrupting his speech to “go home to mommy” and told the crowd that one man who disrupted him, “can’t get a date, so he’s doing this instead”.
“How old is this kid?” he asked about one protester.
One of the protesters was charged with felony vandalism and misdemeanor “inciting a riot”, as crowds of protesters flooded the streets.
Demonstrators were also warned that police will not tolerate violence or disobedience of the law. Shes got to do a better job, OK? he said, adding: Hey, maybe Ill run for governor of New Mexico.
As Albuquerque attorney Doug Antoon described it, citing flying rocks and broken convention center windows, the protests were hardly peaceful.
The billionaire businessman faulted Martinez for an increase in unemployment and the number of people using food stamps in the state over the past 16 years and told the crowd that it wasn’t their fault – it’s their governor’s fault.
Later, Trump said, “Syrian refugees are being relocated in large numbers to New Mexico”.
Donald Trump said Wednesday that women who undergo abortions should face “some form of punishment” if the procedure were outlawed. “I said. ‘I am the only one that can raise more than $5 million dollars for the vets and get bad publicity.’ I mean it was incredible”.
“The potshots weren’t about policy, they were about politics”, Martinez’s office said in a statement in response to Trump.

It started out calm but things escalated when a line of protesters stood, greeting Donald Trump supporters when they showed up-calling it “The Walk of Shame”. “These are hate groups”, he said about the anti-Trump gathering.
