Warriors’ Draymond Green reluctantly awaits Game 4 fate
Draymond Green won’t be suspended for kicking Steven Adams between the legs during the Thunder’s Game 3 win over the Warriors, the National Basketball Association announced on Monday.

CITY-Kevin Durant is facing Harrison Barnes and Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston and Draymond Green and Andrew Bogut, and he’s facing Ron Adams, too.
Green was called for the flagrant with 5:57 left in the second quarter, and the Oklahoma City crowd chanted, “Kick him out!”
“I’m sure he’d want to have kids one day”, Green said of his kick to Adams, which was the second time in two games that Green’s leg has collided with Adams’ groin.
“(The call) definitely frustrated me”, Green said. I think it matters to him a lot to have an impact on the game. I’m not trying to kick someone in the mid-section.
“The way everybody is blowing it up makes me think I’m going to get suspended, when I don’t think it should even be considered because I know I wasn’t trying to kick him”, Green told USA Today prior to learning he would not be suspended.
Green said doing something like that intentionally is not his style.
After Adams fouled Green on a drive to the basket, Green’s right leg swung and hit Adams directly between the legs – “straight to the jewels”, said Adams, who immediately went down on his knees and elbows in agonizing pain. And if the National Basketball Association takes a serious look at it, will they believe anything Green and his teammates say about it? He is one of the team’s best passers, a solid three point shooter and an unbelievable versatile defender. So I don’t understand how that can be deemed a Flagrant 1.
Draymond Green helped motivate Golden State to a record-breaking 73-game winning season but the struggling Warriors will be hoping their emotional forward can avoid suspension after he picked up a flagrant foul on Sunday.
“Russell Westbrook kicked me at the end of the half”, Green said.
“I didn’t see the Dahntay Jones incident, but from what I heard, is he punched him”, Green said.
Green was an All-Star and the runner-up for Defensive Player of the Year, but had a dismal game as Oklahoma City took a 2-1 lead. “I was just bad”.

The previous time Green had set foot on the Oklahoma City court, back in February, he missed all eight of his field goal attempts and became so frustrated that he had a shouting match with coach Steve Kerr at halftime. “Russell Westbrook kicked me at the end of the half”. There’s contact. People’s arms, legs flailing.
