Second Chibok schoolgirl freed, says army
While calling on the worldwide community to keep supporting Nigeria to facilitate a quick end to the Boko Haram crisis in the North East of the country, Dr Abdu noted that apart from the Chibok schools girls, other children, reportedly abducted by the insurgents in different locations should be freed.

He joined Nigerians and well-wishers in the worldwide community to pray for the safe return of other abducted women and children.
“The Nigeria Union of Journalists welcomes with some relief, the rescue of one of the 219 school girls abducted over two years ago in Chibok, by Boko Haram”, the union said in a statement.
But a spokesman for the Chibok girls’ parents has cast doubt on the claims, saying that the girl’s name is not on the families’ list of those missing, the BBC reported. “Until we get some more concrete and verifiable, we will hold on to what she has said that only six of the girls have died and others are still alive”.
“Like all Nigerians and many others around the world, I am delighted at the news that Amina Ali Nkeki, one of the missing Chibok girls, has regained her freedom”.
He said, “The military personnel who carried out the rescue operation and the civilian vigilantes who assisted them and those who know the girl confirmed that she is among those abducted”. While some jumped from trucks on the night of the kidnapping to escape, at least 218 girls remain unaccounted for.
The announcement that the Nigerian government officials had brought another girl home came on Thursday, just hours after the president of Nigeria had met with the schoolgirl who was rescued this week.
Under Buhari’s command, and aided by Nigeria’s neighbours, the army has recaptured most territory lost to Boko Haram.
The #Bringbackourgirls activist group said Amina had told her rescuers the rest of the girls were under heavy Boko Haram guard in Sambisa.
The army has previously made mistakes in its statements about the rescue of the Chibok girls. The president also spoke of making Amina’s return to school a priority of the government.

“We want to surrender because things are getting worse”, said Amir Muhammad Abdullahi, who is reportedly Boko Haram’s second in command. Nobody in Nigeria should be put through the brutality of forced marriage, Every girl has a right to education and their choice of life.
