According to the Wichita forecast office, a total of two inches fell between midnight and 1:30 AM Wednesday morning in the Southwestern corner of Butler County, and Southeastern corner of Sedgwick County.
The drowning in Oklahoma happened early Wednesday when a vehicle was swept into a drainage culvert near the small town of Davenport, about 50 miles northeast of Oklahoma City, the Highway Patrol said.

The Associated Press reports two people were hospitalized in Dodge City with critical injuries after severe weather hit Kansas.
