SPOILER: Who won tonight’s finale of ‘Dancing with the Stars’?

She thanked her pro partner for making her a meteorologist who can dance. Peta just took home the mirror ball with “DWTS” partner Nyle DiMarco. Nyle, too, stayed determined to rise above the rest all season, even in the face of sometimes unfair criticisms.

The moment that really got me and everyone else who was watching, though, was when judge Carrie Ann Inaba, through tears, signed to Nyle, “Thank you for showing us your handsome heart when you dance”. DiMarco, who is deaf, astonished fans with his fine performances and solid teamwork with Murgatroyd.

The pair got a ideal score of 30 in their Cha Cha and Tango fusion while dancing to “The Sound of Silence”. And Paige VanZant was runner up with Mark. “Im a girl who loves storms and who I hope someone can take away from this that you can be more than one thing”. Peta, who was once again in tears, said it was “an fantastic feeling” and that she “owed everything” to Nyle.

VanZant will have to maintain her lead in order to win the crown, but anything can happen in the two-hour episode.

Chmerkovskiy praised Zee for her growth as a dancer and he also said DiMarco’s victory is significant. “Carrie Ann Inaba, shown here in November, 2013, has been a ‘Dancing With the Stars” judge for all of its 22 seasons. The two were so thrilled to find out that viewers had voted for them to win and they celebrated with many tears, hugs, and kisses.

The conclusion of the “Dancing With the Stars” Season 22 finals was almost two hours of fanfare, live from Hollywood, leading up to the moment that’s been 10 weeks in the making. “Maks always wants to take care of everybody, which, to me, was the biggest sign that he’ll be an awesome father and take care of me the rest of my life”, she said. It also included the ones performed by guests like Fifth Harmony, Pitbull, Fleur East, Dan & Shay, and Aloe Blacc. The duo earned a score of 27/30.

In the end, the victor couldn’t hear the applause and cheers, but he still felt the love. Despite having an injured back, Weather anchor Ginger Zee, 35, managed to impress the judges and came third.
