The Bronx Tale hitmaker’s management confirmed with celebrity blogger Karen Civil that he was grazed by a bullet in the leg during the shooting at New York’s Irving Plaza and is now in hospital.

Three unidentified people were also wounded in the shooting, NY city police said, adding that they had not yet made any arrests.

The shooting marks the third time in a decade that shootings have occurred during or after concerts where T.I. was to perform.
Another victim managed to walk to another area hospital. He hasn’t returned a message. One of the male victims who was shot in the leg is reportedly Troy Ave.
Collins, Heckstall and Vinson are in stable condition. T.I.is yet to comment. No arrests were made. “Unfortunately that violence often times manifests itself during performances and that’s exactly what happened last evening”, he said. At or around 10 p.m. he said the venue started playing music again, and at about 10:15 p.m., he saw a line of people coming out from where the performers were coming onstage.
Police said they don’t yet have a suspect description, 1010 WINS’ Samantha Liebman reported. One person was killed, and three others were injured.
The Brooklyn-based Flatbush Zombies opened for the hip hop star, whose real name is Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr., at the 1,000-person venue near Union Square.
Bratton says the investigation is progressing “very rapidly”. Police are searching for the gunman. He says many were unwilling to talk with police.
Cell phone footage circulating the Web shows people hitting the floor and running around as the shots rang out. But an appearance scheduled for later in the night at another club, 1 Oak, was canceled and police closed the club for a period.
“People were falling; they were getting stepped on”. He was 33 years old. Three others were injured.
It was not immediately clear what triggered the attack, or who the intended target was. It is unclear if the fight and the shooting are related, though the gunshots were heard seconds after the flailing body appeared.

Another witness, Rapper Fatboy SSE, told BBC Newsbeat he was just about to enter Irving Plaza with a group when “all of a sudden we seen people running out”.
