National Basketball Association announces Draymond Green’s fate after kicking Oklahoma City Thunder’s Steven Adams
Although Green says the kick was an accident, others believe it was intentional and he should have been ejected from the game.

Not only them, but just like when the Warriors win, it’s mainly about them, started by them, and possibly finished by them.
Asked about the fairness of the league’s review of his kick of the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Steven Adams in the groin, Green said Tuesday before the game, “That is a great question”.
“After a thorough investigation that included review of all available video angles and interviews with the players involved and the officials working the game, we have determined that Green’s foul was unnecessary and excessive and warranted the upgrade and fine”, said VanDeWeghe.
Because they’re outplaying Curry and Green, and not by a little.
“I followed through on a shot”, he said. “Russell Westbrook kicked me at the end of the half”. Somebody wants to have kids someday.
It will take Green bouncing back from his terrible Game 3; if anybody can absorb the rage of 18,000 fans and use it as fuel, it’s Green, but this is now at an emotional apex.
“I see how somebody can think it was intentional, but yet nobody can go in my head and say, ‘Draymond was thinking about kicking him, and he kicked him, ‘” Green said.
This is the second time in two games Green has hit Adams in the groin.
But Curry hasn’t been himself in this series, the rest of this team hasn’t been almost what it was for most of this season, and Oklahoma City coach Billy Donovan has hit every button while Steve Kerr has dialed up wrong numbers.
“Honestly, stuff like that happens all the time”, Kerr said. “There’s contact, people’s arms, legs flailing”. He’s one of the premier players in the league and arguably one of the best teams in the history of the game.
“I’ve never been fined for one flop since I’ve been playing in the NBA”, Westbrook said. I missed a couple of easy ones, and it kind of killed my whole game, so that was pretty frustrating, especially with all the boos. So I don’t understand how that can be deemed a Flagrant 1.
But mostly, I think it will take Curry, the league’s first unanimous MVP, to play like he deserved every one of those votes and more.
The Warriors, seeking their second straight National Basketball Association title, trail the Thunder 2-1 in the best-of-seven series after Sunday’s 133-105 loss.
Adams wasn’t aware of the crowd’s response. At this point, you nearly have to agree with Valentine and say that the latter is closer to the truth. “It happened before, mate”, Adams said.
It will take Kerr and his staff coming up with a few tweaks that help the Warriors find their offensive rhythm and make it tougher on Durant and Westbrook – without anything backfiring on the Warriors. “He’s got a great pain threshold, and, again, he doesn’t retaliate”.

“I said, ‘Scott, how am I getting a Flagrant because my leg went in the air trying follow-through on a shot, to sell the call, ‘” Green recalled Monday.
