Michael Bisping to face Luke Rockhold for middleweight title at UFC 199
While the injury has not been disclosed, sources close to Weidman say he is seeking several medical opinions and hopes to avoid surgery, ESPN reports.

Injuries are common in mixed martial arts.
Bisping is coming off of a controversial victory over Anderson Silva in February.
It happened to Thales Leites, who was on his way to the top after rattling off five wins in his triumphant return to the Octagon. “This was obviously a fight bigger than any for me and I trained harder and smarter then ever but apparently GOD has other plans for me”, Weidman wrote on Facebook.
Meanwhile, Rockhold admitted that once his rematch with Weidman was announced, he had a feeling that he would not be facing the 31-year-old again. This was the case for former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman. This marked his first appearance in side the cage since he was seen defending his belt with a hard-fought decision win over Lyoto Machida at UFC 175 last July. Leading candidates include longtime division contender Michael Bisping and former Strikeforce nemesis Ronaldo Souza; however, nothing is official at this time. Hall is now 10th in the UFC middleweight rankings and his TKO of Gegard Mousasi should propel him into title talk. There is no love lost between those two.
The UFC injury bug could well be back.
McGregor was pulled from the UFC’s marquee card of 2016 when he refused to attend a series of promotional events last month, but White has hinted that the featherweight champion might fight later in the summer at either UFC 201 or 202.
The three strongest options no doubt have to be Bisping, Souza or Hall.
Middleweight champion Luke Rockhold has found a last-minute opponent for his first title defense at UFC 199 and it’s a familiar name – Michael Bisping.
Furthermore, Rockhold has already voiced his support for the rematch.
In the UFC 199 co-main event, bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz (21-1) meets bitter rival Urijah Faber (33-8) in a rubber match.

The UFC is expected to make an announcement on UFC 199 in the next day or two.
