National Night Out program comes to Delray Beach
Tukwila residents will mark National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, the annual national event to get to know neighbors and learn about how to prevent crime.

With the community’s help, area law enforcement are fighting back against crime. Kroening said the Command and Community Outreach vehicle, Crisis Response Team and canine officers will also be stopping at each event throughout the night.
National Night Out was developed with an emphasis on the importance of police-community partnerships.
“Neighborhood watch is an important element in crime prevention”.

For the 32nd year in a row, a national initiative called “National Night Out” will kick off on Tuesday and serve as a strong and unified front against crime.
The city of Canton will host its event at Etowah River Park on Brown Industrial Parkway, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., and the city of Woodstock will host its event from 6 to 9 p.m.at the Park at City Center at 101 Arnold Mill Road.
“It gives them a chance to stand up against criminal activity in their neighborhoods and have a voice”, he said.
The city department will take advantage of the opportunity to be visible to the community it’s protecting, Fells said.

North Shore Neighborhood/Woodland Park Neighborhood Associations – St. Andrews Church, 1100 E. Murdock Ave., 4-6 p.m. The event will be at the skatepark at Lionshead Parking Structure from 6 p.m.to 8 p.m.
Eaglebend Apartments from 6 p.m.to 8 p.m.
At 8:30 p.m., they will move to the baseball field next to the teen center for an outdoor screening of the film “Firehouse Dog”.
