Mighty No. 9 Dev Calls New Trailer “Unforgivable”, Blames Deep Silver
If the answer was “yes”, you probably won’t be a fan of the new Mighty No. 9 trailer that uses that exact line.

So far the reception of the trailer has been poor with many viewers complaining about the trailer’s “out of touch” feel and “condescending” tone, check it out for yourself and let us know how you feel about the Mighty No.9. To become a true Mighty master you’ll need to utilize the dash, absorption boosts, and combo multiplier to transform your game to the next level. Still, with all the delays and the negative publicity that this trailer is garnering, expectations for Mighty No. 9 are certainly mixed, at this point. A unusual boast, considering many Mega Man and Mighty No. 9 fans enjoy Japanese animation (and especially considering Mega Man’s own roots in Osamu Tezuka’s Astro Boy/Mighty Atom).
“You’ve gotta play this game, dude”, the trailer says. “What the hell was D***il*** thinking making a crappy PV like this?!” he said.

The concealed letters are presumably a reference to Deep Silver, which Aizu has seemingly opted not to directly call out, or make it hard to find the tweet by searching for the publisher’s name on Twitter. The game raised almost $4 million on Kickstarter, leading many fans to assume that the need for a publisher was unnecessary. Hopefully, it’s better than this latest trailer.
