Manipur has been hit by flood and heavy rains which resulted in destruction of infrastructure. Manipur has witnessed incessant rains in recent days, washing away bridges and roads while rendering thousands homeless. In capital Imphal, the low-lying areas and it’s outskirts are completely inundated.
Several rivers are flowing above the danger mark and the residents have been moved to relief camps set up with the help of local MLAs.
