Draymond Green responds to Russell Westbrook’s claim of “intentional” groin kick
Green was caught kicking Adams in the groin during their second quarter action in the 133-105 lost to the Thunder.

Golden State also managed just 19 assists on the night, an area of the game that they usually excel at, with over 26 per night in the playoffs.
The league on Monday upgraded the flagrant foul called on Green for kicking Oklahoma City’s Steven Adams in the groin to a Flagrant Foul 2. “He is pretty accurate, that guy”. But I wasn’t standing over the top of him. “I’m not trying to kick somebody in the midsection. I’m not trying to end that on the basketball court”. Furthermore, Green now has three flagrant “points” racked up-he had a flagrant one earlier in the playoffs-meaning another flagrant one, just any excessive foul that may or may not involve Adams and his reproductive organs, will result in a one-game suspension.
“Honestly, I think it’s intentional”, Westbrook said at the podium after the game. “I think our energy goes as my energy goes, and I’ve been bad”.
Kerr acknowledged that this was the most talented team confronting the Warriors and guard Stephen Curry said the past doesn’t always dictate the future. To me it’s no different than Westbrook kicking his legs out on the threes when he feels like there’s contact. Kerr noted that “it happens all the time” as “arms and legs are flailing about”.
The Golden State Warriors will be in major trouble if they can’t win Game 4 in Oklahoma City. “Things like that happen all the time”. Westbrook kicks out his feet on every 3 and there is contact.
Just hours before the ruling was made, Green said that he feared a suspension was on the horizon. Green will also be fined $25,000 for the foul.
“‘I think it’s intentional”.
The league could decide to suspend and/or fine Green.
Adams wasn’t aware of the crowd’s response.
Adams wasn’t aware of the crowd’s response.”Straight to the drawers, you don’t think about any of that stuff”, he said.
With the season on the line, first-year Oklahoma City coach Billy Donovan expects the Warriors to bring their best while back in front of their home fans.
Despite putting his ability to reproduce at stake, Adams will take solace in his team’s performance and his individual toughness.
“Again, we have great respect for Golden State”.
But that’s nine minutes more than Green could be playing if his legs keep finding Thunder big men.
The Thunder handled the situation well, outscoring the Warriors 24-7 the rest of the first half to take a 72-47 lead.
Adams, who said he was a “bit sore”, said he will consider wearing a cup “due to the consistency of the hits”.

Oklahoma City’s length and quickness has bedeviled the Warriors’ offense throughout this series, and I don’t know if the Warriors can fix that.
