Nigerian girl thrashed in Hyderabad, Sushma Swaraj seeks report

After the incident came to light, Union External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj asked the explanation on this Nigerian Student Thrashed in Hyderabad from Telangana Government. He was assaulted with an iron rod by a local resident after they got into a heat argument over parking space. In a fit of rage, Gaffoor assaulted the Nigerian student with a rod. On this issue, K. After the killing of the Congolese student in the national capital this week, the External Affairs Ministry had come out with strong response.

The Nigerian student along with his friends approached the police and lodged a complaint.

The assault comes days after a Congolese national was murdered in New Delhi and the government kicked into action while assuring that they were committed to the security of national nationals in the country. “He has promised to take an immediate and stringent action against the culprits”, Swaraj tweeted. We will also launch a sensitization program to reiterate that such incidents against foreign nationals embarrass the country.

Based on the student’s compliant, the Banjara Hills police have booked Gafoor under Section 324 (voluntarily causing hurt with risky weapon). “We have started investigations into the matter”, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Banjara Hills Division) Uday Kumar Reddy told PTI.
