Clinton Will Skip Final Scheduled Debate With Sanders
But Jennifer Palmieri, the Clinton campaign’s communications director, told reporters Monday, “We have declined Fox News’ invitation to participate in a debate in California….”

Last week Sanders accepted Fox News’ invite to attend an upcoming debate moderated by Bret Baier, Megyn Kelly and Chris Wallace.
WASHINGTON (AP) – Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid said Tuesday that people should “lay off” Bernie Sanders, sending a message to restive Democrats increasingly anxious to see the party unite behind Hillary Clinton. Sanders again insisted a prolonged Democratic fight is good for democracy and resisted any suggestion he may be wounding Hillary Clinton in a general election.
“I am disappointed but not surprised by Secretary Clinton’s unwillingness to debate before the largest and most important primary in the presidential nominating process”, Sanders said in a statement.
Ms Clinton’s team said in an email that while Mr Trump was “rooting” for the crisis, nine million Americans ended up losing their jobs and five million lost their homes.
According to Breitbart News, “If Sanders wins, he could conceivably block his rival, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, from reaching the 2,383-delegate majority she needs to clinch the party’s nomination”.
And in the United States, the president isn’t elected in a national election, but rather by the more complicated Electoral College system. “And I think voters, as opposed to, you know, the kind of back and forth in the public arena, when voters show up to vote, they take that vote seriously”, Clinton said.
Bernie Sanders has always been an outspoken opponent of the type of information disseminated on Fox News.
A KABC Eyewitness News/SurveyUSA poll released Monday showed Hillary Clinton leads Sanders 57 to 39 percent.
“He said a lot of things most of us find terrible”, Bill Clinton said, “but you have to understand what is driving people all over the world to walls, not bridges, is the belief that every tomorrow is going to be like yesterday”. Although both candidates would likely be in the lion’s den, they would have had a chance to really voice their opinions to an audience that does not usually listen to them on a daily basis.
