DENVER, N.C. (AP) A poisonous snake in a tree in the gardening department has bitten an employee at a home improvement store in North Carolina.
Firefighters are warning people to be mindful of their surroundings when shopping for gardening supplies.
“Please watch the trees in the garden area of Lowe’s Home Improvement”, the statement warned. The bite victim’s condition is not known at this time. The snake bit the employee! “He said he’s in a lot of pain and hurts real bad”, the caller said. He was taken to the hospital. The copperhead sank its teeth into the customer, who was treated at a local hospital after employees called 911, Cobb told NBC News.
