National Poll: Donald Trump Surges to Neck-and-Neck with Hillary Clinton

Trump won the Republican primary in West Virginia handily and now leads Clinton in the state by a large margin. Sanders spoke to hundreds of people on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and thousands of people in Rapid City Thursday during a campaign swing through South Dakota.

“The disaster is not Hillary Clinton”.

By contrast, while Sanders has won the backing of at least two super delegates, he is a new face to New Jersey Democratic primary voters. Supporters of Hillary Clinton are pressuring him to exit the race.

Next week, OR and Kentucky will hold their primaries, and Sanders is expected to do well in both states. An equal number agreed that the economy and job growth were their primary issue, ABC News reports. West Virginia delegates are awarded proportionally. While those victories have provided his supporters a fresh sense of momentum heading into next week’s primaries in Kentucky and OR, they did almost nothing to help Sanders cut into Clinton’s nearly insurmountable lead in the delegates who will decide their party’s nomination.

“We fully acknowledge. that we have an uphill climb ahead of us, but we are used to fighting uphill climbs”. “But I do resent what he says about other people, other successful women, women who have worked hard, women who have done their part”. Even so, he is still highly ranked as “unfavorable” across media polls.

UVM political science professor Garrison Nelson is more blunt. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) in the Democratic primary.

“The Democratic Party is decided by the 3 million votes”, said Carville.

Now that Donald Trump is the only Republican left standing, most of his campaign’s attacks target his likely presidential opponent: Hillary Clinton.

Mr Trump said he may avoid negative advertising against Mrs Clinton because he wasn’t sure it worked, and that he would not run a data-driven campaign. “Very happy to see these numbers”, he said. Twice as many of them think Clinton will be the Democratic nominee as believe Sanders will.

Senator Bernie Sanders says the “same old establishment politics” and “same old establishment economics” aren’t going to bring about change, and “won’t take us where this country needs to go”. She’s also dispatched several high-level advocates to the state, including Virginia Sen.

The billionaire NY real estate developer has taunted Clinton in recent days by saying she “can’t close the deal” by beating Sanders, her only rival for her party’s nomination since February 1.
