Why Draymond Green Is and Isn’t a Dirty Player, Explained
Sunday night in Oklahoma City, Draymond Green gave the Thunder’s Steven Adams the second part of the old “one-two” when Adams’ groin apparently leaped in front of Green’s foot.

Draymond Green got away from suspension but he should have gotten one after he kicked Steven Adams in the groin for the second time in their series.
While Green was being fouled, his leg kicked up and caught Adams square in the groin. The Thunder crushed the Warriors 133-105, taking a 2-1 series lead in Game 3. If he picks up another flagrant foul, even a lesser flagrant-1 penalty, he will be suspended for one game.
I can see how somebody can think it was intentional, but yet nobody can go in my head and say, Draymond was thinking about kicking him and he kicked him, Green said.
The cause for concern is whether or not the league believes Green had malicious intent with the kick.
With that in mind, the fate of the Warriors’ season hung in the balance on Monday as a result of what Golden State’s all-purpose, All-Star player Draymond Green did on Sunday night.
Adams referred to Golden State players as “quick little monkeys” and was immediately slammed, later apologizing for his “poor choice of words”.
“So I don’t think it could be compared to a punch, a leg going in the air”. What if Green does get suspended for Game 4 for what he insists was that inadvertent attempt to ensure that Adams – whose father produced 18 children by five different mothers – doesn’t spread his seed so prolifically? They trailed the Cavs with Game 4 in Cleveland.
And with Adam’s emergence helping his team put the best regular-season team of all time on the brink of elimination, it’s nice to see that the newfound success hasn’t prevented him from remaining friendly to his most devoted fans. “And we know the whole crowd’s going to be against us and we have to stick together even more”.
“I followed through on a shot”, he said. If they think it’s on objective, play the game, you know. He’s averaging 13 points on 37 percent shooting in the series, and just 5.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists.
Judging by the way the Thunder have approached these playoffs, the Warriors need all of their players available.

But Kevin Durant isn’t surprised by the news. But Oklahoma City’s lengthy and athletic frontline has neutralized Green, and the Thunder outscored Golden State by an incredible 73 points with Green on the floor in the last two games.
