Rubio warms to Trump, but won’t be his vice president
In an interview with CNN, he went further than that, saying that he would speak on behalf of Trump at the Cleveland convention if asked, calling Trump “the ultimate change agent”. Rubio definitely wants a future in politics and his sickening Trump suck up suggests that he is trying to position himself for a potential run against Hillary Clinton in 2020.

Rubio said he expected to attend the convention and did not rule out a speaking role.
It’s easy to say that, but mostly because publicly apologizing to Trump while still campaigning against him wouldn’t have done Rubio any favors anyway.
Marco Rubio says you can probably expect to see him on the national stage again. “I want him to be successful because if he’s successful that means Hillary Clinton didn’t win. If there’s something I can do to help that from happening, and it’s helpful to the cause, I’d most certainly be honored to be considered for that”.
On Friday, the Senate Leadership Fund, a super PAC allied with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, said in a statement that it would support Rubio if he decides to run. It embarrassed my family. “I don’t know what my life will look like then”.
Now, Rubio has endorsed Trump for President.
He also said he’ll release the 167 delegates he won during the primary, with victories in Minnesota and Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia. Ted Cruz – besting Ohio Gov. John Kasich even though Kasich stayed in the race several weeks after Rubio departed on the night he lost at home in Florida.

“We felt confident about betting on Rubio back in 2010 and would do it again in a heartbeat, but right now it’s hard to imagine making that same investment without him as our candidate”, said Steven Law, the head of the group. “Donald deserves to have a vice president – he’s earned the nomination – and he deserves to have a running mate that more fully embraces some of the things he stands for”. “It’s not who I am, and I shouldn’t have done it”, Rubio said on CNN’s “State of the Union”.
