“We call that feeding the fishes!” cried Squirt behind them.
The official synopsis for the film reads: “Disney/Pixar’s Finding Dory reunites everyone’s favorite forgetful blue tang, Dory, with her friends Nemo and Marlin on a search for answers about her past”.
Opening June 17, “Finding Dory” also stars Albert Brooks, Hayden Rolence, Diane Keaton, Ty Burrell, Kaitlin Olson, Eugene Levy, Ed O’Neill and Willem Dafoe. The movie will take place only six months after the events of Finding Nemo, and it centers around Dory remembering that she has parents.
Coupled with Dory’s origin story, this amps up anticipation for the Finding Nemo sequel, which looks better than Monsters University and will inevitably be more endurable than Cars 2.
It’s been nearly 15 years since Finding Nemo made us tear up at the story of a clownfish dad on a quest to find his son – but it’s not like this family theme can ever be worn out. Guests can learn to speak the language while taking part in some whale-sized fun!
The first Finding Dory clip that has debuted online doesn’t feature any heartstring tugging, but it does feature the return of few familiar faces and it’s perfectly adorable.

“She’s amusing, but she’s obviously very relatable, which why people like Dory so much”, DeGeneres recently told Entertainment Weekly. The pair happens upon a juvenile Dory, who introduces herself before they ask “where are your parents?” Said director Andrew Stanton.
