Chan and Zuckerberg, who met at Harvard and dated for nearly a decade before getting married in 2012, also revealed in the post that they had experienced three miscarriages in their attempts to have a child over recent years.

In an interview with CNN, Zuckerberg showed his soft side when talking about what it will be like to be a dad, saying that he already feels a connection with his daughter and is “excited to meet” her. You begin planning, after which they’re gone. Most people don’t discuss miscarriages because you worry your problems will distance you or reflect upon you – as if you’re defective or did something to cause this. He added that he and Chan decided to publicly share the information about Chan’s miscarriages after hearing from friends who underwent similar experiences and were eventually able to have children. “It’s a lonely experience”.

“You be therefore encouraged as soon as you get to know you’re visiting have a child” Zuckerberg provided.

He accredited his ongoing optimism to an open and related world stating that “discussing these points does not distance us; it brings us collectively”. “We hope that sharing our experience will give more people the same hope we felt”.

Priscilla Chan’s pregnancy is said to be far enough and is already secured from risk and loss.
