Jessica Lange And ‘American Horror Story’ Are Never Getting Back Together
Jessica Lange had the comeback of all comebacks with her decidedly terrifying/gorgeous/inspiring/overwhelming feature roles in the ‘American Horror Story’ franchise. But in an interview with Charlie Rose, Lange has answered the question once and for all, and the news isn’t good for #TeamLange.

“Do you hope to do American Horror Story?” .
“I had four years with that, four seasons, and each year was a marvelous character”, she said. “I mean, everything changed from one year to another which made it very interesting for me”.
Jessica Lange addresses whether an “AHS” comeback is in her future. But then, who could? “I think, you know, I had four seasons with that”.
Alas, a Hollywood legend like Lange needs to move on to bigger and better things, especially when bigger and better things involve American Horror Story’s Ryan Murphy in a new series, called Feud.
Lange will play Crawford opposite Susan Sarandon as Davis. Yes, Lange can even hold up to Lady Gaga in that department. This is just the kind of behavior Wednesday expect from a former witch, mother of a mass murderer, freak show-operating amputee and vindictive nun. Lange received much critical acclaim during her four seasons on the anthology show.
While we’re not exactly laughing at the idea of no more Lange on AHS, at least we can rest assured that she and Murphy will be re-teaming for Feud, which is bound to be our next TV obsession.

The “American Horror Story” series so far has had “Murder House”, “Asylum”, “Coven,” “Freak Show”, and “Hotel“. During her time on the series she had several memorable moments, including a performance of David Bowie’s “Life on Mars”. She was absent from last season’s hotel-themed narrative, though her departure was cushioned somewhat by Lady Gaga’s larger-than-afterlife portrayal of a glamorous vampire femme fatale.
