Apparently, Floyd Mayweather is planning to fight someone named ‘Conor’
He further expressed that the only way for McGregor to win a fight against Mayweather is if MMA rules are applicable.

The last time we saw a bout between a boxer and an MMA fighter was when James Toney came to the UFC to fight Randy Couture.
Making the fight come to fruition presents plenty of difficulties, with a 151-pound boxer potentially squaring off against a 170-pound MMA fighter.
Count Freddie Roach among those convinced talk of a Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Conor McGregor boxing match is more than just a publicity stunt.
ESPN boxing ringside analyst Teddy Atlas said that it would take years before McGregor can enter a boxing match.
As both sides continue to tease the bout, UFC president Dana White has called it an impossible prospect.
Um, if “Money” Mayweather is so loaded with cash, why couldn’t he hire a competent graphic designer? It has become evident the Irishman lost his showdown with the company over his compensation for leaving July’s UFC 200 card – which would have been a rematch against Nate Diaz – as McGregor was essentially reduced to unsuccessfully pleading to be restored to the card.
“Well there’s a lot of rumors out there that I’m getting calls from Conor [McGregor] asking me to train him, but they’re not true”. “I don’t take pay-cuts”. Mayweather seems to want the fight, and that mind-boggling payday, but McGregor wants that huge sum also.
Atlas did so somewhat reluctantly in a story posted Friday, and it’s clear he doesn’t think McGregor has much of a chance in a conventional boxing match.
“He’s talking $100 million, I’m also talking $100 million”.

In a May 20 report by TMZ Sports, Mayweather supposedly offered McGregor a sum of $50 million to make the fight happen on New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas. Does McGregor, for all his bravado, really feel that he stands more than a literal puncher’s chance against the 49-0 “Money”?
