The Ivorian has been at the end of many controversies, and was arrested after an incident in the Champs-Elysees quarter of Paris.

The policeman filed a complaint of violence against Aurier, who was with a group of friends in a luxurious vehicle parked in the middle of a street near the Champs-Elysees, when the police patrol approached them.

The 23-year-old Ivory Coast defender has made headlines for the wrong reasons in the past but now his future with the Ligue 1 champions could be in the balance.

It is alleged that the Ivory Coast global was part of a group that insulted officers patrolling the area, with the PSG man said to have made wounding remarks towards the police.

Aurier was eventually allowed to play for PSG again after apologising to all of his targets.

Aurier was suspended for six weeks in February after a video emerged on social media showing him making derogatory comments about PSG coach Laurent Blanc.
