OnePlus 2 announced with 4GB RAM at $329
As for the official specs, according to a report by PC Advisor, OnePlus, the company behind the awesome smartphone has finally revealed the details of the handset during their VR Product launch this July 27, 2015, at 7 p.m. PT.

The company on Tuesday launched its new handset, OnePlus 2, priced at Rs.24,999.
The premium edition is powered by a meaty octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor clocked at 1.8 GHz alongside an Andreno 430 GPU, and either 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, with the cheaper version coming with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.
The OnePlus 2 will go on sale on August 11 in the United States, Canada, China, the EU, and India through the company’s annoying invite system. Like its predecessor, the OnePlus 2 will support AT&T and T-Mobile’s LTE networks in the US and will be sold unlocked so users can switch between networks. After Samsung, HTC and Apple, OnePlus is the latest to include the feature to its new smartphone that boosts the device’s security and makes it less prone to be accessed by strangers. It also features a 5-megapixels front camera for selfies.
That reversible, USB Type-C connector tho.
The device, along with the home button, will have two dedicated capacitive buttons which can be customised to launch apps, or perform actions.
The phone has 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera.
The four additional back covers – bamboo, black apricot, rosewood, and kevlar – look very edgy and further modernize the look of the OnePlus 2. It is the first device to ship with OnePlus’ own operating system out of the box. And we wouldn’t want you to expect anything less from OnePlus.
Under the hood, it has a non-removable 3,300 mAh battery, which we believe will take you through the entire day without any worries. The phone runs on Android Lollipop-based Oxygen OS.
Thankfully the OnePlus 2 now has a metal frame, instead of the OnePlus One’s polycarbonate plastic back.

At the same time, it promises to maintain its budget-friendly status, with 16GB and 64GB models selling for $329 and $389 SIM free in the US. If you’re feeling lucky you can tune in to OnePlus’ social media channels starting August 1st for a chance to get an invite.
