HP Reveals Limited Details on Omen X VR PC Backpack

The VR backpack will likely be showcased by HP at the 2016 E3 event scheduled to be held in June. A smaller battery built-into the device allows you to hot-swap the other batteries without interrupting your activities. Nash added that despite the positive feedback, the existence of the cord limits the overall VR experience which may feel a little less real, in which he said, “But despite all of the demos, nobody has tripped over the cord”.
