Russell already has a 4-year-old daughter, Willa, and eight-year-old son, River, with her ex-husband Shane Deary.
A source said they were “thrilled” to welcome their new baby to the family.
The child’s name, gender and birthdate were not reported.
News broke in January that Russell and Rhys were expecting their first child together.
A source previously said: “They are always together and love roaming around NY”.
“Matthew is really in love”, another source told Us. They feel they should have always been together’.
Russell and Rhys, who play married KGB spies on the FX drama, confirmed they were dating in April 2014.
