Leaked photos suggest the next MacBook Pro keyboard will be part touchscreen

There are also reports suggesting that the laptops will carry an OLED touch bar, which will be placed just above the keyboard of the device.

For Apple’s businesses and ventures, its fourth quarter runs from July to September, making the month after WWDC the earliest possible release for the Macbook Pro 2016 if it does happen. But they also reveal other changes that might not sit well with everyone, like the removal of MagSafe charging and full-sized USB ports. As we covered just last week, Apple later this fall is planning to release a completely revamped MacBook Pro outfitted with a Touch ID sensor and an OLED display panel located where the function keys usually reside. Aside from spacing on space, that will potentially allow users to reprogram the “keys” to the functions they do want or need, instead of being force by convention. That said, many will probably bemoan the removal of physical keys, sacrificed for the sake of customization. But reports are now surfacing that the public get to have their first look by Q4, most likely October of this year. Thankfully this isn’t the case like with the 12-inch MacBook as the photos suggest that Apple will be introducing four USB-C connectors, with two on each side.

The 12-inch MacBook is Apple’s newest addition to its laptop family, and it appears that Apple will borrow from its design for its updated MacBook Pro laptop refresh.

Finally, it appears that Apple has relocated the speakers to either side of the keyboard, even on the 13-inch model.

For now, Apple has yet to provide significant details with regard to the MacBook Pro’s development and release date.

Of course, unofficial leaks are unofficial, so there’s no certainty of their accuracy.

Likewise, Kuo hinted the use of OLED display panel in time for the MacBook Pro 2016 refresh and the latest batch of leaked images gathered by Cult of Mac seems to confirm this claim.

If this report turns out to be true, it would definitely be disappointing to Macbook aficionados.
