As a chief drug prosecutor in the late 1990’s, Curiel and other law enforcement officials in California of Mexican descent were able to use their Spanish-language skills and knowledge of the culture to win the trust of their police counterparts in Mexico and identify the corrupt officials who were sabotaging U.S.-Mexico efforts to crack down on the drug cartels.
The class action lawsuit alleges that Trump University misled students with unfulfilled promises of teaching them the secret to being successful in the real estate business.
Among the harshest critics of Trump University were some of the people who used to work there. In addition, a third civil case has been brought in the state of NY by the State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman. Last Friday, a judge who has earned Trump’s scorn sided with attorneys for The Washington Post who argued that the public had a right to know what was previously confidential.
Trump did not immediately respond to Clinton’s tweets, which started with links to media stories and retweeting 2012 Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s March condemnation of Trump and continued in spurts into the afternoon.

Rubio said last week that he’s eager to help the party defeat Clinton. Democrats have vowed to avoid repeating those same mistakes in the fall campaign. “It is our job to rekindle that motivation…to make them once again see the potential of achieving their dream”, a company guide read, according to the Associated Press.
Trump University offered a three-day seminar for $1,495, using it as a springboard to sell more expensive “Trump Elite” packages for up to $34,995 a year. “Mr. Trump will not listen to excuses”, the playbook tells salespeople to say, “and neither will we”.
“If they complain about the price, remind them that Trump is the BEST!!” “They were teaching methods that were unethical, and they had had little to no experience flipping properties or doing real estate deals”.

The documents include sales and marketing “playbooks” from 2007 through 2010.
Legal experts said Trump’s remarks could get him in further hot water if the judge made a decision to hold him in contempt but said they didn’t expect Curiel to do so.
This is despite the fact that Trump is facing a lawsuit over the university and a judge ordered the release of internal Trump University documents over the weekend.
Trump is listed as a defense witness for a trial scheduled for November 28. Trump said Judge Gonzalo Curiel, of the Southern District of California, should recuse himself, but cited no reasons for why other than that he had been appointed by Obama and had repeatedly ruled against Trump’s lawyers.
In his order, Judge Curiel hinted at Trump’s attacks, noting that the Republican nominee has “placed the integrity of these court proceedings at issue”.
