“They’re in the northern Thumb (and) Saginaw area now, but there’s a cold front coming through”, sad Dan Thompson, meteorologist for the National Weather Service in White Lake.

Much of the southern half of Wisconsin is under a severe thunderstorm watch or warning until 10 p.m.as very warm, unstable air settles over the state.

Primary threats are moderate hail, wind gusts potentially exceeding 90 km/h and torrential, but quick, downpours.
