SIR Bobby Charlton appears to have put past reservations about Jose Mourinho becoming Manchester United manager behind him after welcoming the Portuguese at the club’s Carrington training complex.

Mourinho and Guardiola clashed while in charge of Real Madrid and Barcelona in La Liga respectively from 2010 to 2012.
Mourinho opened up on his relationship with Guardiola for the first time since being appointed United manager, whilst giving a lecture in Lisbon.
“[What has happened in the past] does not allow me to be innocent”.
However, the report in Sport newspaper adds that Depay – a £25million summer signing from PSV Eindhoven past year – is also set to be shown the door by the Special One.
“In a situation like this, individual fights make sense because they can influence things. We will have to wait and see whether anything changes for me”, Blind told NOS.

Mourinho’s arrival should signal a chance for players like Herrera to “start over” and focus on impressing the new boss in order to solidify a place in the team.

Questioned by reporters over possible transfer targets in Portugal, Mourinho said: “Am I going to take players from Portugal?”
