Chris Evans is not happy with the Top Gear backlash… FACT!
After Sunday’s Top Gear train wreck, host Chris Evans had a bit of a Twitter meltdown.

Okay well, it got slated. The new, rebooted series follows largely the same format as the old one – more than one reviewer joked that it hasn’t “reinvented the wheel”.
The relaunch of BBC Two’s Top Gear is presently facilitated by Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc. Still number one on i Player.
Much of the criticism was levelled at Chris’ performance as host, with fans accusing him of shouting and being “too excitable”.
The reviews were not the greatest but some did like that the show did things similarly to previous episodes.
“Evans appears to be trying to be Jeremy Clarkson, and that’s not a good idea”.
Top Gear returned to television with Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc at the helm but failed to reach the viewing figures of the last series with Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.
3 million viewers last June. Having said that, there are some changes that need to be made, but any new show has teething problems, and there is still time to fix those issues.
The first episode of the new season of Top Gear has earned the show’s lowest TV viewer ratings in 10 years.

They will return later this year (16), with a new show, The Grand Tour, on Amazon’s internet TV streaming service. It took them months and the three hosts even looked at suggestions from fans around the world.

This is the first episode however in a 72 hour line up filmed for the new Top Gear so it is still all to play for.
