Why Parents Are so Upset With Jessica Alba’s The Honest Company
The buyers are alleging that the SPF 30 sunscreen doesn’t actually provide relief from the Sunday.

The bottom line: doctors say that even though you have second thoughts about the chemicals used in sunscreen, everyone should be using it. The risk of UV rays is much greater than any risk posed by the chemicals being used in the sunscreens.
The photos show serious sunburns suffered by them after applying Honest Company’s sunscreen.
The Honest Company, an eco-friendly company that was founded by actress Jessica Alba and sells all natural products, is not living up to consumers’ expectations when it comes to their sunscreen.
The company also said the product was tested by an independent third party, per FDA protocol.
Gretta Stabler told NBC 5 Chicago that after applying the sunscreen on her 6-year-old daughter multiple times throughout the day, she got all-over burns. Sunscreen isn’t highly regulated by the FDA and the Honest Company could blame the testing process. The company claims extra natural ingredients were added to replace the zinc, in order to keep the sunscreen active. The concern about the sunscreen has some folks believing this allegedly could be a product that doesn’t do as promised. It seems that many of these people who bought the Honest Company’s sunscreen lotion ended up having quite tumultuous nights after their fun in the sun, as they were left with significant sunburns, despite the fact that they applied the lotion diligently and correctly.
The Honest Company might already know there is a problem with the product and are quietly taking action to avoid a big media spotlight.
Other customers complained of burns and blisters.
In spite of the grisly sound of a few of the components, the final product will be smooth and 100 percent transparent, Bulone assures Aussies, many of whom love to sunbathe at Gold Coast and other beaches.
“The Honest Company is committed to providing safe and effective products, and we take all consumer feedback very seriously”, the statement reads (via People).

In the same report, the Food and Drug Administration commented that The Honest Co.’s products were not tested by the FDA for safety because law requires manufacturers to test their own products. Today, we have backlash against those very products, specifically, their sunscreen.
