The grave detail found 99 unmarked graves at the cemetery but the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs prohibits anyone but the veterans’ family from applying for a marker.

Post 147’s membership still includes a five World War II veterans, Blankin said, but most of the older vets served in Korea or Vietnam.
Two more state veterans cemeteries are in the works.
