G-Unit boss 50 Cent is the latest hip-hop artist to come forward and show support for rapper Troy Ave following last week’s publicized NY concert shooting.

He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment. DNA tests on the guns will determine who was handling the weapons, sources said.

“In the hip hop world, he’s not known as one of these troublemakers”.

The gun was matched to six bullets, including the one that killed Troy Ave’s bodyguard Ronald “Banga” McPhatter. It is also alleged that Collins had been targeting rapper Maino during the incident, with whom he had been feuding, and who had just left the stage.

“This eleven seconds of video that the NYPD released, it doesn’t say what happened before, it doesn’t say what happened after”, the lawyer added. The Daily News reports (http://nydn.us/25x3ePS ) Collins was arraigned on charges including attempted murder.

The victim’s brother, Shanduke McPhatter, shared a social media post Monday that said a man with outspoken podcaster TaxStone was the shooter. “McPhatter died a hero trying to protect Mr. Collins”.

The prosecution was building its case with a surveillance video that shows someone who has been identified as Ave firing a gun in a green room area at the venue. He was also denied $50,000 bail, so at this time he’s still in police custody. “The evidence will show he did not shoot himself”, Leemon said.
